I think red it the #1 color people seem to want for a dining room. I had 2 clients as for it this week alone and wound up choosing something better suited for their room.
My dining room was a deep red back in the 90's when jewel tones were popular. I heard it stimulates your appetite therefor I try to avoid it - even though it's one of my favorite colors!
Thanks, Donna. Red is one of my favorite colors also but a little bit goes a long way for me. I prefer to use bring this color into rooms via rugs, throws, accessories.
